Shawn joined DLAB in 2023, he transfered from our sister company MAV Construction. He since then has become OSHA 30 Certified.
2019
DLAB was awarded prevailing wage projects; IEHP Victorville & Rancho Cucamonga locations. It also started a multifamily housing project in Carson, CA which consisted of metal framing, drywall, finish tape and an exterior Vaproshield, metal ATAS panels & Cembrit installation on 3 buildings, 45 residential units which completed in 2020.

DLAB Turns 5! It incorporated in Jan and it was part of more restaurant projects such as Dickie’s BBQ Pit, BurgerIM, Menchies, Clean Juice, Burger King, Travel Traders, Mc Donald’s, Which Wich, Evan’s Brewery & Tap Room, Dog Haus, Texas De Brazil Carlsbad, Fresno and Tacoma, WA.
Aldo A.
DLAB’s first foreman with over 18 years of experience including metal framing and drywall. He is currently a foreman for one of the leading contractors in the Pacific Northwest region. He was part of the YARD a 21-story, 206-foot-tall apartment building which because of its appearance now referred to as the "Death Star" in Portland, Oregon.
Eileen K.
Eileen brings over 20 years of project management experience from signage to elevator projects. She has managed the signage scope at the Allegiant Stadium, SoFi Stadium, and Crypto.com Arena to name a few.
Alex A.
Alex brings over 15 years of experience including metal framing and drywall. He has worked for some of the largest drywall contractors in the US and was one of the foremen on Intel’s recent $3 billion expansion of the D1X factory known as Mod3 at its Jones Farm Campus in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Gaby V., Office Manager
Gaby is the backbone of our company. She joined DLAB in 2019. She handles our day-to-day office operations, AR, AP and payroll. She is our expert in DIR reporting and certified payrolls. She is OSHA 30 certified.
Cecilia Z., Vice President
Cecilia holds a doctorate in business administration with a concentration in international business. She has been in the construction industry since 2005.
She joined DLAB’s board of directors in 2018 but official joined the management team in 2022 and is head of the estimating department and operations. She is an avid life learner and enjoys the daily challenges of the construction industry.

DLAB was awarded Valley Vista Senior Living in Van Nuys, CA Consisted of metal framing, drywall, and finish tape on a 5-story building 132 studio units.
2022
Officially became a Certified Women Business Enterprise.
Again, awarded prevailing wage projects such as Innovation Empire, Port of Long Beach Admin Building, LAC & USC Medical Center Elevator and Stairs and Arrowhead Reginal Medical Center.
Brianda A., Jr. Estimator
Brianda joined our estimating team in 2023, she has a great ability to learn and retain information quickly which is one of the reasons we asked her to join DLAB. We are excited to see her take on this new role.

DLAB focused on tenant improvement projects which included the remodeling of The Anaheim Hotel in Anaheim, CA. consisted of metal framing, drywall, and finish tape on a multiple 2 story buildings, 306 rooms and main lobby.
2021
DLAB was awarded prevailing wage projects, Sulphur Springs Community New Classroom Building, DPSS and Dorothy Kirby where DLAB Team members became trained installers for USG’s Ensemble Acoustical Drywall Ceiling. DLAB also provided metal framing drywall and tape finish at their first downtown Disney retail project-Love Pop.

Danhya A., President
Danhya earned her bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from California State University Fullerton. In 2010 she traveled and moved to Australia where she received her master’s in project management from the University of Wollongong, Sydney Business School.
She grew up in the construction world, her father is now retired but he played a key role in the growing stages of DLAB and her construction knowledge. He is still her closest advisor offering over 40+ years of experience and contacts in the construction world.
Andres I., Jr. Estimator
Andres joined our estimating team in 2023, he recieved his civil engineer degree at ITESM. Has experience in AutoCAD & Revit, SAP2000 and ETABS. He is a great addition to our growing DLAB Team and we look forward to his growth with in the organization.

Ernesto V., Construction Manager
Ernesto has been with DLAB since day one, he was 1 of 3 employees when the company was founded. He worked his way up from laborer to now General Foreman. He has 10 years of experience and plays a huge role in DLAB's daily operations. He is OSHA 30 Certified.

Albino O., Sr. Estimator
Albino joined our estimating team in 2021, he has been in construction for over 10 years. His father owned a plastering company where he learned take off's and estimating. We are happy to have him on our team. His detail on takeoff's are amazing!!

Covid happened and despite the world being on a stand still DLAB thankfully stayed busy with various projects like; California Bank & Trust in Lake Arrowhead, Corona Med Spa and Spring Hotel in downtown Los Angeles which was started in 2019 which consisted in 14 story, 180 guestrooms.
